Our Solutions for Low Carbon Energy Transition

 

To meet the world’s current energy needs in a sustainable way, a robust energy transition is needed to reduce the use of fossil fuels in favor of renewable resources. The main objectives are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the resulting climate change and to increase energy efficiency in all sectors. And it is precisely on this front that large companies like ours, always attentive to the issues of sustainability and energy efficiency, can and must make a difference. Our role in the energy transition is to design and produce units that use energy rationally, without local CO₂ emissions and using green refrigerants with reduced environmental impact. But that’s not all. Our role today also includes active collaboration with large energy companies worldwide. A collaboration aimed at finding new innovative and pioneering plant solutions designed specifically to produce, store, or recover energy in an intelligent and sustainable way.

 

Successful Case Studies

One example is the recovery and intelligent management of heat waste. In fact, we have participated in the design and construction of new plants that aim to decarbonize the district heating networks of Northern Europe. There are already numerous systems of this type with our units installed, for example, chillers that, while cooling data centers or industrial processes, release heat to neighboring district heating plants that, thanks to this energy booster, are able to make real contributions to sustainability. Our units have also been successfully used to cool the generators of modern offshore wind farms that bring clean energy to numerous populated areas in the Netherlands.

 

Actively Supporting the Energy Transition

The effective collaboration with one of the main global players in energy storage, electric mobility, and fast charging of electric vehicles, engaged in the development of new technologies towards the energy transition and sustainable mobility, deserves special attention. In fact, together we have designed and tested special roof top units dedicated to the cooling of their containers that house the inverters for modulation and the batteries for the storage of green energy produced by photovoltaic fields, which are then fed into the network.
